With a 38-acre campus located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, PEEC is an exceptional place for customized field trips and retreats of all types and sizes. PEEC has something for everyone and facilities are available year-round.
School Programs
- Individualized education programs for groups of 15 - 280; overnight or day trips for Pre-K to Graduate-Level students

Meetings & Retreats

Summer Camp
PEEC offers:
- Nature Adventure Day Camp for Ages 3-15; see our Nature Adventure Day Camp page.
- Week-Long, Overnight Science Camp for Grades 8-10; see our Sci-Q page for details

Public Programs & Workshops
- Seasonal, family-oriented activities include canoeing, orienteering, natural history, crafts, cross-country skiing, hiking, field trips to local areas of interest, and more!
- Public programs provide opportunities for educators, naturalists, families, and the general public.
- Previous workshops, led by experts in their fields, have included birding weekends, photography weekends, and fiber arts workshops.

Scout Programs
PEEC offers Scout BSA and Girl Scout Badge Fests, along with individualized scout trips. See our Scout Programs page for additional information.
Outreach Programs
In-person or virtual environmental education programs are available for schools, libraries, exhibits, or special events. Details are available on our Outreach Programs page.
Homeschool Programs
Programs are available for hands-on environmental education for Pre-K to high school level students. Curriculum aligns with Pennsylvania and Next Generation standards. More information is available on our Homeschool Programs page.

EcoZone

About PEEC's Nature Adventure Camp
Our nature adventure camp is designed to help campers grow and explore while under the guidance of staff. Our staff are instructors, interns, and counselors who are hired based on experience and trained in childhood behavior, special needs, risk management, and other camp-related topics. All PEEC staff members undergo background checks before working with children.
DAY CAMP
PEEC's nature day camp has been running since 1998. Campers will enjoy hiking, playing games, and exploring a national park under close supervision by trained camp staff. The camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Lunch is available for $50 per week and will be a hot lunch from the kitchen. Campers with special dietary needs can be accommodated if at least one week's notice is given.
Transportation service is available for $75 per week at Milford Health Center. Pickup times are 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Before & After Camp Care is available for $15 each for the week. Before Camp drop off occurs between 8am and 8:40am. After Camp pick-up is by 5pm. Single day before or after camp is available for $15. Any camper picked up later than 4:10pm without After Camp registration will be charged a $15 late fee. Any camper not picked up by 5pm will incur an additional $15 late fee.

Bring Your Troop to PEEC
- PEEC offers a variety of classes and activities to help fulfill requirements for environmental and outdoor scout badges.
- Several Merit Badge Counselors are available to teach badges and sign blue cards.
- A day or weekend program at PEEC can be individually designed to meet each scout troop's needs.
- Troops can add activities such as team building, challenge courses, or a campfire.

BADGE FESTS
Payment is required at registration; space is limited. Scouts must be supervised at all times by a parent or troop leader.
All badge fests are 9:30am - 4:30pm.

Scouts BSA Badge Fest - Saturday, March 25, 2023
Bears will participate in the Bear Necessities badge. Webelos will work on the Webelos Walkabout badge. Scouts will work towards their Nature merit badge (Pre-req 4.A.2 and 4.D). Overnight options are available for all ages levels, ask for more information!
Girl Scout Badge Fest - Saturday, April 1, 2023
Brownies will work on the Outdoor Adventurer & Cabin Camper badges. Juniors will work on their Eco Camper badge. Cadettes will work on the Primitive Camper badge and Seniors will work on the Adventure Camper badge.
Girl Scout Badge Fest - Saturday, October 28, 2023
Brownies will work on the Senses & Eco Friend badges. Juniors will participate in the Animal Habitat badge. Cadettes and Seniors will participate in the Girl Scout Ranger program.
Scouts BSA Badge Fest - Saturday, November 4, 2023
Bears will work on their Fur, Feathers & Ferns Badge. Webelos will work on the Into the Wild badge. Scouts will work on their Mammal Study badge.
Badge Fest - Overnight Stay for Troops
Join us for Badge Fest and we'll provide 1 night's lodging, dinner and breakfast, plus a campfire for only $43 per person. Evening or morning classes are available with an instructor for an additional fee.
Registration for Badge Fest required prior to overnight bookings. All age groups need minimum of 4 registered individuals to run the day's program.
